Greg Ross

Greg Ross, PhD, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Investments & Operations Development at The TCW Group, focusing on the development of ETF technology. Previously, Greg held the position of Head of Engineering & Analytics at Engine No. 1, where leadership was provided in building unique models and infrastructure. At Credit Suisse, Greg held dual director roles in Global Markets Technology Lab and Credit Suisse Labs, engaging in product development with a diverse team to advance machine learning technologies. Greg has also contributed to academia as a board member for a Big Data Advisory Board at Rutgers University and mentored engineering leaders through Plato. Prior positions include Data Engineering Manager at Under Armour, Software Engineering Manager & Technical Director at DeNA, Senior Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, Senior Software Engineer at The Kelvin Institute, and Software Engineer at Nickleby HFE Ltd. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in Computing Science, and a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland.
