Joseph C. Carieri

Mr. Carieri is the Head of Marketing at TCW with oversight of all domestic and international teams. Prior to joining TCW in 2013, he was Head of Client Service for the Public Fund and Taft Hartley markets at Western Asset Management Company (WAMCO). Before that, Mr. Carieri was the Senior Investment Officer-Fixed Income for the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA). He also previously held roles as a Senior High Yield Bond Trader for Fidelity Management and Research Company as well as Senior Portfolio Manager and Vice President of Investments for First Capital Holdings Corporation. Mr. Carieri began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert where he worked in credit research and subsequently fixed income sales and trading. Mr. Carieri received a joint degree in Economics and Finance from Saint Francis College in New York and holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. In addition, he holds Series 3, 7, and 24 FINRA licenses.
