Julian Carvajal

Julian Carvajal, CFA, has extensive experience in trading and finance, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Trader at TCX since June 2018, after progressing through various positions at the same company. Prior to TCX, Julian worked as an Assistant Trader at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking from February 2015 to May 2018, specializing in volatility trading across several markets and asset classes. Earlier experiences include roles in supply chain management, financial analysis, and trading participation, with notable achievements such as ranking 19th among 2,500 participants in a stock trading competition. Julian holds a Master's degree in Financial Risk Management from Audencia and a Professional degree in Finance and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
