Baanu Ratneswaran

Baanu Ratneswaran has extensive experience in innovation and digital strategy, currently serving as Head of Enterprise Innovation for TD Bank Group since April 2014, overseeing innovation investments and initiatives. Previous roles include Vice President positions focused on AI-driven digital experiences and customer experience strategy, as well as leadership in product and operations at UGO and TD Accelerator. Baanu co-founded Dads for Daughters in STEM in 2018, contributing to initiatives fostering STEM education for young girls. Earlier in Baanu's career at RBC, significant responsibilities included directing emerging payments products and managing the premium credit card portfolio. Baanu's career began at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant in Technology Strategy & Management. Educational credentials comprise an EWLP program at Stanford University, an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Smith School of Business at Queen's University, and dual Bachelor degrees in Applied Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
