Helena Pliszka is an experienced Air Quality Data Scientist currently working at TD Environmental Services since January 2023. Previously, Helena held various roles at the University of Colorado Boulder, including Technical Assistant and Graduate Researcher, where responsibilities encompassed supporting students in air quality projects, leading outreach events, investigating methane monitoring feasibility, integrating and calibrating monitoring hardware, and deploying sensors for air quality analysis. Helena's experience also includes serving as a Student Mentor and working as an Electronics Shop Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a Summer Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Helena contributed to research in the Computational Earth Sciences Group through dataset analysis. Helena holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Certificate in Global Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
