Alexander MacDonald

Alexander MacDonald is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business governance and risk management. Currently serving as VP of Business Governance & Controls at TD Securities since June 2023, Alexander previously held roles at Credit Suisse from July 2015 to June 2023, including Director of Investment Banking Risk Governance and AVP of CRO Regulatory Compliance. Earlier experience at Sterling from April 2007 to July 2015 encompassed various positions such as Account Manager, Process Manager for EMEA Operations, and Team Leader in multiple domains. Alexander earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading from Edexcel, along with an Ontario Secondary School Certificate in French Immersion from Lisgar Collegiate Institute.
