Johnathon Brent

Johnathon Brent serves as the Director of Global Equity Derivatives at TD Securities since December 2014, leading note structuring in Canada and overseeing the design and delivery of equity-linked and interest rate-linked notes. Brent has a proven track record in pricing, revenue generation, and client experience management, while also managing a team of six and developing new product types in collaboration with various stakeholders. In addition, Brent has been appointed as a Committee Member for the Investment Funds Technical Advisory Committee at the Ontario Securities Commission since September 2023, focusing on enhancing the regulation of investment funds and structured products. Brent’s prior roles at TD Securities include Vice President of Global Equity Derivatives and Senior Manager in various departments like Strategy & Change Management and Risk Management. Educational qualifications include a B.A. (Hons) from McMaster University and an LL.B. from Western University.
