Otakar Sedlacek

Otakar Sedlacek is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Manager HR Regional Partners for TE Connectivity in the Czech Republic since May 2022, overseeing HR functions for approximately 1300 employees. Prior to this role, Otakar was self-employed as a Human Resources Interim & Project Manager, addressing various HR challenges and developing strategies for multiple organizations from November 2017 to May 2022. Otakar has held significant HR positions at KIEKERT-CS, Foxconn Global Services, and AMETEK, among others, demonstrating expertise in HR management, transformation into business partnerships, and employer branding. Otakar began a career in education as a history and social studies teacher before transitioning into HR consultancy after earning a Master’s degree in History/Humanities from the University of Hradec Králové and further education at Charles University.
