Aurelia Dolive

Aurelia "Lia" Dolive is currently a Teaching Fellow at Teach For America, leading virtual mathematics tutoring sessions for 8th grade students in New York. Previously, Lia gained experience as an intern with the District of Columbia Public Schools, participating in the Urban Education Leaders Internship Program, where data analysis and presentation were key responsibilities. Earlier roles included tutoring 6th grade students at Teach For America, serving as a Research Fellow at NASA DC Space Grant Consortium, and assisting in the design and production of educational projects at the Institute for Immersive Designs, Experiences, Applications, and Stories. Lia also provided academic mentorship to high school and GED students at the Latin American Youth Center and worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Rothenberg Preparatory Academy. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at American University, Lia is also minoring in Economics and holds a certificate in Leadership and Ethical Development.
