Chakia Parham

ChaKia Parham currently serves as the Vice President of Institute and Program Implementation at Teach For America, where responsibilities include redesigning a teacher training program for nearly 2500 teachers, supporting change management for 2000 staff, and managing a diverse team while adhering to a multi-million dollar budget. Previous roles at Teach For America include Vice President of Regional Support and Engagement, Senior Managing Director of Teacher Leadership Development, and managing directorships focused on teacher leadership and elementary instruction. ChaKia also has experience in roles such as Breakthrough Performance Coach at District Management Group and teaching positions at KIPP New Orleans and KIPP Central City Primary. Education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Howard University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of North Texas.
