Damaris E. Doss

Damaris E. Doss is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor relations, currently serving as the Director of Development at Teach For America since October 2023. Previous roles include Major Gift Officer at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and several positions at Teach For America, progressing from Coordinator to Manager of Development. Damaris has also worked in various capacities at the University of Michigan, including Senior Development Assistant in Planned Giving, and has interned at notable organizations such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and UMS. Damaris holds a degree in Music with a focus on Performing Arts Management from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the Detroit School of Arts.
