Jada Burroughs

Jada Burroughs is a dedicated professional currently serving as an Ignite Fellow at Teach For America since January 2023, delivering high-impact virtual tutoring to underserved K-12 students while fostering academic and social-emotional growth. Previous experience includes multiple roles at EY as an Audit Intern, where responsibilities encompassed performing audits for Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, and analyzing financial statements. Jada also served as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at the Capstone Center for Student Success, facilitating collaborative learning sessions aimed at improving student retention in challenging college courses. Earlier roles include a Launch Intern at EY, a Tutor at Kumon North America, and a Summer Learning Intern at Ed Farm, where Jada led educational camps focused on technology and socio-emotional skills. Jada Burroughs is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Education & Policy Reform at The University of Alabama, expected to graduate in December 2024.
