Manuel Cardoza-Gonzalez is an experienced educator and advocate for diverse learners, currently serving as a Learning Behavior Specialist at the Noble Network of Charter Schools since August 2019. Responsibilities include creating and modifying curriculum to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, developing behavior management plans, and fostering a positive learning environment. As a Special Education Teacher for Teach For America since June 2020, Manuel has engaged in classroom management and professional development while teaching in urban education settings. Previous roles include serving as a Special Education Paraprofessional and Youth Mentor, where support and empowerment were provided to students facing various challenges. Manuel holds a Master's degree in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology and Race & Ethnic Studies from St. Olaf College.
