Teach For America
Shelby Harold is a dedicated education professional with diverse experience in teaching, policy development, and leadership. Serving as a Corps Member with Teach For America since 2017, Shelby focuses on supporting at-risk students through intensive skill enhancement and ongoing professional development. Currently, Shelby also holds a Legal and Policy Intern position with the Charter School Institute and volunteers with Junior Achievement USA, educating low-income high school students on personal finance. Previous roles include Vice President of Chapter Operations for Alpha Phi International Fraternity, where significant accomplishments include enhancing member engagement and overseeing fiscal management. Shelby’s experience extends to drafting policy briefs as a Fellow with the Roosevelt Institute, and serving in various customer service roles, showcasing strong communication and organizational skills. Shelby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Political Science from the University of Denver, complemented by study abroad experience at Charles University.
