Cathy David

Cathy David has more than forty-five years of experience as an educator, including thirty-four years serving as a teacher, curriculum specialist, principal, Executive Director of Elementary Programs, and Deputy Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction for the Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) in Alexandria, Virginia. Since retiring in 2011, she has consulted on leadership development, professional learning, strategic planning, school improvement, curriculum design, and performance evaluation. Most recently, Ms. David supported the Virginia Department of Education in the Office of School Quality, focusing on school and district improvement initiatives and principal leadership development.
