Davis Barber

Davis Barber has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Davis is currently employed at Teachable as the Director of Engineering - Growth, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Teachable as the Senior Engineering Manager - Growth from February 2022 to September 2022. Before joining Teachable, Davis worked at Woven as a Founding Engineer from August 2017 to September 2020.

Before that, Davis worked at Airbnb as a Software Engineer from March 2016 to August 2017, where they focused on merchandizing listings across the search flow and utilized modern JavaScript tooling. Davis also worked at Squarespace as a Software Engineer from August 2012 to February 2016, where they contributed to the production of Squarespace 7, a large-scale JavaScript-heavy application and CMS. Additionally, Davis worked at Daylife as a Software Engineer from March 2012 to August 2012, where they built embeddable components for a Django-based news aggregation application.

Prior to that, Davis worked at Bug Labs as a Software Engineer from October 2011 to March 2012, where they contributed to the production of a NodeJS-based message passing platform. Davis also worked at Bug Labs as a Test Engineer from July 2011 to October 2011, where they conducted thorough testing for an OSGI stack. Davis has earlier work experience as a Writing Center Tutor and Summer Research Assistant at Union College, as well as a Summer Intern at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
