Chelsea Vanbuskirk

Chelsea VanBuskirk has extensive experience in education, currently serving in the Office of the President at TeachBeyond since August 2016. Prior to this role, Chelsea worked as a 5th grade teacher at San Antonio Independent School District from August 2014 to July 2016, where innovative lesson planning and hands-on learning were emphasized to foster student achievement. Chelsea was also a 2014 Corps Member with Teach For America, contributing to significant student gains in a self-contained fifth-grade classroom after attending a rigorous summer training program. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Camp Counselor at Quest, Inc., where Chelsea managed daily activities and supported adults with special needs. Chelsea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies with a focus on Global Justice and Policy, complemented by a minor in Special Education from James Madison University.
