Jane Marie Hutcheson

Jane Marie Hutcheson, MEd, is a seasoned educational consultant with extensive experience in curriculum development and teacher coaching. Currently serving as a Senior Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters, Jane partners with New York City Public Schools to implement the NYC Reads Initiative and supports teachers in literacy curriculum and data analysis. Previously, Jane held roles including Head of Lower School at German School Brooklyn, Lead Educational Consultant at EmberToSpark, and Subject Expert Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools. With a strong educational background, including multiple degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, Jane has demonstrated success in enhancing educational practices, fostering diversity and inclusion, and driving significant improvements in student learning outcomes.
