Aaron Akins

Aaron Akins has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Aaron started their career as a Student Network Technician at Milligan College, where they repaired and maintained the campus network. Aaron then worked as a Database Administrator at Honda of America Mfg., Inc., where they overhauled the Performance Information Tracking System Database. After that, they worked as a Network Technician at MountaiNet, where they maintained and upgraded the student dormitory network at Eastern Tennessee State University. Aaron also had a self-employed stint at Freelance Executive Services, where they designed web pages, managed business projects, and manipulated photographs. Akins then joined MarketResearch.com and served as a Systems Administrator and later as the Infrastructure Management Team Lead, showcasing their skills in managing and upgrading IT infrastructure. Aaron eventually joined Teaching Strategies, LLC, where they held various roles, including IT Manager, Director of IT & Facilities Management, Director of Business Operations, and currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Technology.

Aaron Akins earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Milligan College, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Aaron then pursued further education at East Tennessee State University from 2003 to 2005, focusing on Information Technology. Prior to their college experience, Aaron completed their high school education at Dayton Christian High School from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in General Studies.
