Steph Stewart

Steph Stewart, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the education sector. Steph is currently the Chief Learning Officer at Teaching Trust since July 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Program Officer at Teaching Trust from May 2015 to June 2018. From 2011 to 2015, Steph held various roles at Jefferson Parish Public School System, including Deputy Chief Academic Officer, Deputy Chief Human Capital Officer, and Executive Director of Leadership Development. Steph worked as the Director of Professional Development at New Leaders Org from August 2010 to August 2011. Before that, Steph served as the Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Noble Network of Charter Schools from 2007 to 2010. Steph also worked as a Resident Principal at Chicago Public Schools from 2006 to 2007, and as a School Librarian at Shelby County Schools from 2004 to 2006. Steph began their career as a Middle School Teacher at Quitman County Middle School from 2001 to 2004.

Steph Stewart, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Mississippi from 2002 to 2004. Finally, they completed their higher education journey by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Mississippi between 2004 and 2008.
