Emily Simon

Emily Simon has a diverse work experience across various companies. Emily has held multiple roles at Teachstone, starting as a Product Marketing Manager, where they built and established processes for the product marketing function. Emily also created a go-to-market process for new product launches and simplified a complex product line with a new positioning framework. In their subsequent roles at Teachstone, they served as the Director of Product Marketing, Interim Senior Director of Product Strategy & Marketing, and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Product Strategy & Marketing.

Prior to their time at Teachstone, Emily worked at Teaching Strategies, LLC as a Product Marketing Manager, where they led marketing efforts for a product line of over six unique products. Emily collaborated in cross-functional go-to-market planning and developed comprehensive marketing plans inclusive of internal and external resources. Emily also managed content strategy and execution for the company's blog and social media presence.

Emily's earlier experience includes working as a First Grade Teacher and a Fifth Grade Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools, and as an Intern & Contract Associate at the West Virginia Department of Education, where they aided in the development and implementation of the Principal's Leadership Academy.

Additionally, Emily has served as a Substitute Teacher at Monongalia County Schools and gained clinical experience as a Student Teacher and Intern at Suncrest Primary.

Emily Simon holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from West Virginia University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained multiple certifications, including Pre-K CLASS Observer from Teachstone, Foundations, Launch, Market, PMC Level I, PMC Level II, PMC Level III from Pragmatic Institute, Sales Enablement from HubSpot, and Email Marketing from HubSpot.
