Nayantara Prem

Nayantara Prem is an experienced professional in the fields of software engineering, data science, and machine learning, currently serving as Engineering Team Lead and Machine Learning Engineer at TealBook since February 2021, following a role as Data Scientist from May 2020 to December 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Achievers, where responsibilities encompassed backend development, Scrum leadership, and machine learning engineering from May 2016 to August 2019. Additionally, Nayantara held the position of Java and V8 Compiler Developer at IBM Canada, focused on restructuring the Java JIT compiler from May 2014 to August 2015, and worked as a Web Developer for The Cannon newspaper, maintaining its website from September 2013 to April 2014. Earlier in the career, Nayantara completed a research internship at the Centre for Advanced Nanotechnology at the University of Toronto. Nayantara holds a Master of Science in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto, achieved in 2020, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering, obtained in 2016.
