Cindy Karker has extensive experience in human resources and payroll management. From 2008 onwards, they worked as the Human Resource Director at Team Elmer's, where they oversaw all aspects of a highly functional HR office and was responsible for administering and directing employee benefits choices. Cindy also managed operations related to workman compensation, unemployment, 401k, and DOT compliance. Prior to this, from 1990 to 2008, Cindy worked as a Benefits Administrator/HR/Payroll Manager at Interlochen Center for the Arts. In this role, they handled payroll functions for a secondary school and summer arts camp, managing employee records, benefits administration, pensions, and disability-related matters. Overall, Cindy has a strong background in HR policies and procedures.
Cindy Karker obtained their Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Northwestern Michigan College from 2009 to 2014. In addition, they obtained a certification in PHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2014.
