Esakkiappan Subbian

Esakkiappan Subbian is an experienced offshore crane operator currently working as a Stage 3 offshore crane operator on an FPSO for SBM Offshore since June 2023. With a diverse career in the offshore industry, Esakkiappan has held positions as a crane operator with Sparrows Offshore at ADNOC Platforms since November 2019, with TEAM Energy Resources since October 2021, and with PACC Offshore PTE LTD since September 2017. Prior experience includes roles as an assistant crane operator at Bumi Armada starting in February 2014, Bosun/crane operator at MEDS from April 2016 to April 2017, and crane operator on an ROV vessel at UP Offshore Brazil from June 2015 to February 2016. Esakkiappan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Madras (2003-2006) and has completed specialized crane training at Sparrows, including ICS Stage 3.
