Jason W. Wilson

Jason W. Wilson, MD, PhD, CPE, FACEP is a distinguished Professor and Research Director at the University of South Florida, with extensive experience in emergency medicine education and research. An influential leader, Jason serves as the Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Chief of Emergency Medicine at Tampa General Hospital, where involvement in quality improvement initiatives like the Sepsis and Heart Failure Boot Camps has been pivotal. Jason's academic credentials include a PhD in Anthropology and an MD from the University of South Florida, complemented by a CPE certification. Additionally, Jason contributes to various committees and task forces focused on healthcare access, quality improvement, and community health, while actively participating in medical education through teaching courses in medical anthropology.
