Anand Balasubrahmanyan

Anand Balasubrahmanyan has over 10 years of experience in communications, working for government agencies and non-profits. In 2021 they began working as Communications Manager at Partners In Health, leading communications for the Chicagoland Vaccine Partnership. From 2018 to 2021 they were an Account Manager at Team Soapbox, helping organizations speak clearly about critical issues. From 2015 to 2018 they were Lead Project Manager and Project Manager at Pyramid Communications, creating content, budgets, and timelines for diverse communications projects. From 2014 to 2015 they were Administrative Specialist III at the Committee to End Homelessness King County (now AllHome), meeting with coalition stakeholders to identify communications gaps. From 2012 to 2014 they were Communications Associate at the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, coordinating communications efforts for both the development and advocacy teams. In 2011 they co-founded Cine Migratorio, a migration themed film festival in Santander, Spain, and was Production and Communications Assistant at ViBGYOR International Film Festival and Policy Intern at RESPECT Network EU. In 2010 they were Program Assistant--Consulting Team at Building Changes, providing administrative and technical support.

Anand Balasubrahmanyan attended Mounds Park Academy prior to enrolling at Grinnell College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2008.
