Anne Heavey has worked in various roles since 2003, beginning as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator Maria Cantwell. In 2004, they joined Strategies 360 as an Account Manager. In 2006, they were a Program Coordinator for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. From 2010 to 2014, they were the Policy Manager for Partnership for Learning, where they directed policy analysis, research and development, and provided strategic guidance in support of education reforms and improvements in Washington state. Anne also led policy discussions with state legislators and developed key messaging and talking points on education policy for members of the Washington Roundtable. From 2014 to present, Anne has been with Team Soapbox, first as an Account Manager and currently as Director. In this role, they specialize in media relations, marketing, messaging, brand development and management, event production, and public affairs. Anne also provides strategic planning for the firm and clients, and oversees staff development. Her skillset includes media relations, strategic communications planning, messaging, developing communications and marketing strategies, branding, video production, website design, and event management (in-person and virtual).

Anne Heavey has a diverse education history. Anne earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Gonzaga University from 1999 to 2003. Anne then continued their education, earning a Masters Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Seattle University from 2007 to 2009. In 2012, they attended Leadership Tomorrow and the Center for Creative Leadership, where they completed a Leadership Development Program.
