Molly Michal

Community Curator at Team Soapbox

Molly has more than seventeen years of experience working with non-profits, public agencies, universities, and businesses on project management, partnership cultivation, creative development, audience engagement, and organizational storytelling.

At Team Soapbox, Molly leads video production and another website, digital, and print collateral development, putting her strong creative skills to work for a range of health care, education, transportation, racial equity, and sustainability clients. Strategic communications and writing on complex issues are also a sweet spot, whether she’s developing targeted messaging, speaker scripts for a fundraising appeal, or a media relations plan.

Before the ‘Box, Molly led marketing efforts for over 200 programs a year at Northwest Film Forum. Through oversight of the organization’s volunteer and membership programs, plus creating regular development campaigns and events, she was proud to cultivate and strengthen the Pacific Northwest’s independent film community.

Pre-Seattle, Molly created multi-national and multi-year cultural diplomacy programs for the British Council. Through arts-led project development, she cultivated expertise in a broad range of issues, including environmental sustainability, immigration, urban development, and education access.
