Doreen Smid

Doreen Smid is currently serving as a research intern at Transitiecoalitie Voedsel, focusing on the project 'The Healthy Food Coalition,' which aims to enhance the food environment at universities and colleges. Additionally, Doreen holds the position of Youth Educator at TeamAlert, promoting road safety among young people at schools and festivals. Previously, Doreen completed a research internship at the Ministry of Defence, collaborating on initiatives to design CO2-neutral camps aligned with energy goals for 2030 and 2050. Doreen is pursuing a Master's degree in Innovation Science at Utrecht University, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Groningen, and completed secondary education in Nature and Technology/Nature and Health at Esdal College Oosterstraat Emmen.
