Sydney Patterson

Sydney Patterson has a diverse background in development, marketing, and fundraising. Currently, they hold the position of Digital Senior Account Manager at Allegiance Group, where they began working in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Digital Account Manager at RKD Group from October 2021 to November 2022.

In 2020, Sydney worked as a Development Manager at Crossroads Community Services, where they were responsible for managing marketing and communications for fundraising purposes. Sydney'srole involved overseeing social media campaigns, paid digital and social campaigns, press releases, and external communications. Sydney also collaborated with a fundraising consultant to develop communication strategies, including direct mail campaigns, email marketing, and direct communication with donors. Additionally, Sydney built relationships with individual donors to renew gifts and enhance donor retention. Sydney ended their tenure at Crossroads Community Services in October 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Sydney served as a Development Officer at All Stars Project, Inc. In this role, they contributed to achieving an annual fundraising goal and managed relationships with non-special event income supporters. Sydney executed the annual campaign through mass mailings, email communication, and phone communication.

Sydney's earlier experience includes roles as a Development and Marketing Associate at Crossroads Community Services from 2016 to 2018, a Development Assistant at Wesley Rankin Community Center from August 2016 to December 2016, and a Customer Associate at Anthropologie from July 2016 to December 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Intern in the Office of Annual and Affinity Giving at Goucher College from January 2016 to May 2016. Sydney'sresponsibilities in this role included assisting with volunteer management, data management, and planning logistics for the annual Alumni Weekend. Sydney also gained experience as an Advancement Division Intern at Dallas Zoo Management, Inc. in June and July 2015, where they conducted research, assisted with donor appreciation events, and participated in donor tours and meetings.

Sydney Patterson attended Goucher College from 2012 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Sociology & Business. In 2014, they also briefly studied at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, primarily focusing on Sociology.
