Fabian Toro Ojeda

Fabian Toro Ojeda has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Fabian is currently the Head of Software Engineering at Teamcore. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Tech-K from April 2021 to March 2023, and as a Lead Software Developer from March 2017 to March 2021. Fabian also served as a Full-stack Developer at https://www.inverst.cl/ in April and May 2020, where they were responsible for developing the company's home page, managing the hosting, and migrating corporate emails. Before that, Fabian worked at GfK from January 2013 to March 2017 as a Full-stack Developer, focusing on the development and maintenance of a web-based geographical platform used for territorial studies in the field of geomarketing. Fabian actively participated in all stages of development and was proficient in agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM. Fabian also handled the design and implementation of dynamic reports in Widgets (JSP, AJAX, JQuery) that could be exported to PDF and Excel.

Fabian Toro Ojeda pursued a Licenciatura en Ciencia de la computación degree at Universidad de Santiago de Chile, from 2009 to 2014. This degree provided him with a strong foundation in computer science.

In terms of additional certifications, Fabian obtained a Cloud SRE Engineer en AWS certification from BOOTCAMP INSTITUTE in June 2021. This certification solidified their expertise in cloud engineering. Fabian also received a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) – (Spanish) from CertiProf in July 2020, showcasing their proficiency in Scrum methodology. Furthermore, Fabian completed a course on Liderazgo efectivo para el trabajo en equipo at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in December 2019, enhancing their leadership skills for effective teamwork. Most recently, in October 2021, they obtained a certification in Fundamentos de Arquitectura Cloud from Capacitación Usach, further expanding their knowledge in cloud architecture.
