Vincent Albouy

Vincent Albouy's work experience begins with their current position as the Co-founder & CTO of TeamOut, a company that is part of the YCombinator Winter 2022 cohort. Vincent joined the company in February 2021 and continues to be involved in the role.

Prior to that, from May 2020 to December 2020, Albouy worked as a Software Engineer-Machine Learning Engineer at VantAI.

From March 2019 to January 2020, Albouy served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Predict.ai.

Between 2016 and 2019, Albouy held various positions at IBM. Vincent started as an IT Engineering Intern from April 2016 to December 2016 and later transitioned to roles such as Lead Data Scientist and Software Engineer. At IBM, Albouy co-authored the IBM Research Machine Learning Framework called Mi-prometheus and was involved in building machine learning solutions for CANON and HITACHI Metals. Vincent also worked on projects related to NLP and computer vision, including Visual Question Answering Research and Transfer Learning studies.

Earlier in their career, Albouy gained experience as an Engineering Intern at EDF in 2015 and as an Event Manager at Xceed - Live the Night from January 2015 to September 2015.

Before transitioning to the technology industry, Albouy worked as a Ski Instructor at École du ski Français de Val Thorens from 2008 to 2014. Vincent was also a Professional Skier at Team Banque Populaire Des Alpes from 2010 to 2014.

In addition, Albouy briefly served as a Sales Manager at BdE INSA Lyon from August 2011 to June 2012.

Vincent Albouy has a strong educational background in engineering and science. Vincent earned their Baccalauréat Scientifique degree from Lycée Ambroise Croizat in 2011, focusing on science and technology. Vincent then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, completing it between 2010 and 2013. Vincent continued their studies at INSA Lyon and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in the High-Level Sport Section from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they participated in an academic exchange program at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2014 and 2015, where they pursued a second Master's degree in Engineering. Vincent Albouy's education has provided him with a strong foundation in engineering and a diverse educational experience.
