Theresa Bufano

Theresa Bufano has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Theresa is currently the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Teampay since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Finance & Operations Lead at Checkin, a platform providing peer support through video chat, from May 2021. From March 2019 to December 2020, Theresa served as the Director of FP&A at letgo, where they implemented and managed a $75M expense budget, improved headcount planning processes, and coordinated the yearly budget process.

Before letgo, Theresa worked at Meetup as the Head of Finance from June 2018 to February 2019 and as the Manager of FP&A from August 2016 to June 2018. Their responsibilities included leading the creation of the annual budget process, performing detailed analysis of financial KPIs, and partnering with department leaders to provide insight into their spending.

Theresa also has experience at Medidata Solutions as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis from April 2015 to August 2016, and at Coty where they held various positions including Senior Manager of marketing finance at philosophy, Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Senior Financial Analyst.

Theresa started their career as a Senior Auditor at Eisner LLP in November 2006 and worked as a Staff I Auditor at Ernst & Young from September 2005 to November 2006.

Theresa Bufano attended Fairfield University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting & Economics.
