Liam Swann

Liam Swann has a diverse work experience in the animation and entertainment industry. Liam has worked as an Assistant Producer (Animation) at BBC Studios, where they were responsible for creating and pitching new shows for children. Liam has also written pilot scripts for numerous projects. Additionally, Liam has worked as a Head Writer for the sitcom "The Wolfbjorns," which is currently in co-development with CBBC and BBC Studios. Liam was a finalist in the BBC's Ignite scheme. Other notable roles include Lead Writer and Development Writer at TeamTO, Head Writer and Development Writer at Moilo, Co-Writer and Story Editor at RAYDAR MEDIA LIMITED, Script Writer and Script Editor at Cartoon Saloon, Script Writer at Tulipop, Doodle Productions, and DOT TO DOT PRODUCTIONS LIMITED, and various roles at BBC and PBS, including Script Editor, Script Writer, and Development Assistant.

Liam Swann's education history includes a Master of Arts (MA) in Playwriting and Screenwriting from the University of Central Lancashire, which they earned from 2014 to 2015. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the same university, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In 2019, Liam attended the BBC Academy for a Script Editing course instructed by Henry R. Swindell. Most recently, in 2021, they completed a short course titled "Killer Ideas" at the National Film & Television School.
