Christopher Widauer

Christopher Widauer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital development and management within the music and performing arts sectors. Currently serving as General Manager at AMS Music Service since August 2023, Christopher focuses on creating a sustainable ecosystem for musical auditions. Additionally, as a consultant for digital development at both the New Cairo Opera House and Teatro alla Scala, Christopher leverages over seven years of expertise to enhance digital capabilities in prestigious cultural institutions. Christopher also holds the position of Chief Business Development Officer at Newzik, where innovative AI-powered digital sheet music solutions are being developed. Furthermore, Christopher has played significant roles in leadership and educational capacities, including as Artistic Director for MXP - The Mozart Experience Vienna, Head of Digital Development at Wiener Staatsoper, and Lecturer at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.
