Petra Popp is Global Head of Service and Aftersales and a member of the Extended Management Board at Tecan. Petra joined in 2019 to lead Service & Aftersales to be the empowering partner for customers in Life Sciences and the OEM business along the lifecycle of products and solutions.

Drawing on over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and service across various industries, Petra focuses on driving the digital agenda to have a transformational impact on Tecan’s business with innovative offerings and excellence in operations.

Before joining Tecan, Petra spent 11 years in Carl Zeiss Group with increasing management responsibility as Senior Vice President Global Service and Customer Care at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (2015-2019), Managing Director Carl Zeiss Meditec Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH (2010-2015) and Program Director Customer Care at Carl Zeiss AG (2008-2010). Prior to this she has built a successful career at Siemens AG in over 10 years, holding a number of senior global positions across a range of disciplines in telecommunications and healthcare. She started her career as a Management Consultant at Arthur Andersen.
