Sweta Sneha, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Sweta began their career in 2000 as a Management and Technology Consultant at PwC Consulting, where they worked until 2003. Sweta then pursued higher education at Georgia State University, earning their PhD in Computer Information Systems in 2008. During their time at the university, they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant.

In 2008, Sweta joined Kennesaw State University as an Assistant Professor in Information Systems. Sweta steadily advanced their career within the institution, becoming an Associate Professor in 2013 and a Professor of Information Systems and Security in 2008. Alongside their professorial roles, they also founded and directed the Healthcare Management and Informatics program at the university.

Sweta's expertise and contributions extend beyond academia. In 2017, they became a Board Member for the Digital Health Society at the Technology Association of Georgia, further showcasing their involvement in the industry. Sweta has also served as a strategic board director for Tech Alpharetta since 2023.

Sweta has remained active in the field, joining various organizations in advisory and board roles. Sweta currently serves on the Advisory - Emerging Technology Roundtable at the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Scientific Advisory Board at Jeeva Informatics Solutions Inc.

Sweta Sneha, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Sweta completed their doctoral studies from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Decision Information Systems from the University of Maryland from 1996 to 2000. Sweta also holds a High School degree from St. Joseph's Convent High School, which they completed from 1982 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Sweta Sneha has also earned certifications to further enhance their expertise. One of the certifications they obtained is the CLO Accelerator from Chief Learning Officer, which they acquired in March 2021. Furthermore, they received the AMIA 10x10 - Health Informatics certification from AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association) in May 2012.
