Elangovan D is an experienced professional in the Aerospace and Defence sector, currently serving as the Head of Aerospace & Defence for Tech Mahindra since December 2007. Responsibilities include managing P&L, business development, and growth within the Integrated Engineering Services vertical, with a focus on digital transformation and advanced technologies like eVTOL, more electric aircraft, and net zero emission technologies. Previous roles include Practice Head for Aerostructures, Cabin Interiors, and Aftermarkets at Tech Mahindra, where emphasis was placed on urban air mobility, electrification, and digital manufacturing. Earlier experience includes project leadership at Infotech Enterprises and a scientist role at DRDO. Elangovan holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Design from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
