Brad Gay

Brad Gay is a seasoned legal and corporate executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. As a Founding Member at TechGC since August 2016, Brad has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization. In the capacity of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at American Well since March 2013, Brad leads international legal and regulatory affairs for a prominent telehealth company with 1,100 employees, also serving as Secretary to the Board. Previously, Brad served as Senior Counsel at EMC, where management of international legal and risk teams was essential for business operations exceeding $1 billion in revenue, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and strategic partnerships. At Bingham McCutchen, Brad specialized in corporate law, while initial experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at State Street Capital Markets involved structuring tax-exempt bond deals. Brad holds a law degree from Duke University School of Law and a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College.
