Aliyu Idris

Aliyu Idris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in literary and educational organizations. As the Founder of Sunshine Literary Club Yola since September 2020, Aliyu has demonstrated leadership and dedication to promoting literature. Current roles include Trainee at Techie Youth, Language Contributor at Virtual Linguistics Campus, and State Coordinator for the Northeast Festival of Literature. Notably, Aliyu served as President of the National Association of Students of English and Literary Studies (NASELS) from August 2023 to March 2024 and contributed as a volunteer Membership Columnist for Daily Trust from June 2021 to December 2023, focusing on educational issues in Nigeria. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Bayero University, Kano, and a National Certificate in Education from Federal College of Education Yola.
