Radu Trandafir

Radu Trandafir has a long and diverse work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on RF systems and wireless networks. Radu started their career at Nortel in 1999, where they worked as a Manager for BTS H/W Systems, overseeing the hardware systems. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of a Technical Project Manager at Nortel, leading various technical projects. In 2009, Radu joined Ericsson Canada as a Radio System Design & Integration specialist, where they worked until 2013. Since 2014, Radu has been working at TechInsights as a Principal Analyst for RF Systems, responsible for evaluating and exploring technologies in the mobile RF and WLAN space. Radu also took on the role of Systems and Software Engineering Manager - Intellectual Property Technical Solutions until December 2021.

From 1982 to 1987, Radu Trandafir attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, where they earned a M.Eng. degree in Electronics & Telecomm.
