Empowering Community at TechLit Africa

Moses Kipngok has garnered diverse experience in various roles since entering the workforce. Currently, as part of TechLit Africa since January 2021, Moses plays a key role in empowering community through management of a computer lab. Additionally, Moses has been working as an assistant at MCA Office Móveis p/ Escritórios since August 2020 and previously served as an assistant at Microsoft from June 2019 to May 2020. Moses completed education at Kampi ya Moto High School from May 2019 to March 2020 and holds a degree in fashion and design from Jodan College.

TechLit Africa

TechLit Africa is a non-profit organization that aims to end intergenerational poverty by leveraging the digital economy.  TechLit was founded by two software engineers; Nelly Cheboi, a native Kenya who grew up in poverty and Tyler Cinnamon , a self-taught programmer who grew up immersed in Technology. They repurposes old computers to build computer labs in rural primary schools.  Since 2018, TechLit has partnered with 15 schools giving 6,000 kids opportunities to learn a variety of programs and gain technical skills that will position them for family-sustaining jobs and brighter futures. TechLit provides the tech, curriculum and educators while the schools cover the local operations, making the projects sustainable and long-running
