Varunika Tewani

Varunika Tewani is a dedicated professional in the technology sector, currently serving as a Brand Organizer at Technica since January 2023, where efforts focus on marketing outreach and community engagement. Varunika has held various internships, including a Software Engineer Intern at Squarespace and Datadog, where skills in Python, React, and microservices were developed. Varunika also gained global insights through participation in the Global Leadership Program at the International Studies Institute in Florence and served as an elected President in the ACES Honors Program, advocating for student interests and enhancing community programs. Varunika actively contributes to the underrepresented genders in tech through involvement with Rewriting the Code and has a background in teaching coding to young girls, fostering interest in STEM fields. Varunika's academic journey culminates with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, expected in December 2023.
