Bang Chi Duong

Bang Chi Duong is a skilled Data Scientist with extensive experience in machine learning project lifecycle management, particularly in MLOps practices at Technical Safety BC since July 2020. Previous roles include contributions as a Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia and work as a Data Scientist within Technical Safety BC, where Duong developed REST APIs and improved data processing efficiency. Prior industry experience includes positions at Ubisoft Montréal as an AI Programmer and as a Bioinformatics Analyst at The Structural Genomics Consortium, supporting research in cancer treatment. Duong holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Guelph, and an Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Physics from the University of Toronto.
