Jason LeCocq

Jason LeCocq has a strong background in calibration, metrology, and lab support. From 2016, they worked as the Regional Calibration Lab Supervisor at Technical Safety Services LLC, where they managed equipment, performed calibrations, and offered calibration support for multiple regions. Prior to this, they worked as a Metrologist II at Hologic (Formerly Gen-Probe) from 2008 to 2016, overseeing vendor contracts and scheduling equipment maintenance. From 2006 to 2008, Jason worked as a Lab Support Technician at Genentech, where they prepared reagents, washed labware, and attended training sessions. Before that, they were a Research Associate/Biosafety Officer at ProSci Incorporated from 2001 to 2006, where they developed various skills related to protein characterization and occasionally performed pipette calibrations. Jason also has experience in ministry work, having served as a Youth Minister at St Edward's Catholic Church from 1999 to 2000, leading youth to Christ through education, service projects, and retreats.

Jason LeCocq attended Palomar College from 1992 to 2003, where they completed a transfer program. Jason then went on to California State University San Marcos from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Ecological Studies.
