Davie Johnston

Davie Johnston is an experienced professional in facilities planning and management, currently serving as VP of Facilities Planning & Management at Technicolor Group since March 2018. Previously, Davie held various leadership roles at MPC from July 1995 to 2018, including Global Director of Strategic Projects and Facilities, where responsibilities included overseeing design and construction of studios worldwide and managing facilities across eight locations. Significant projects include expansions in Montreal and Bangalore, along with relocating the Santa Monica office to Culver City. Earlier career highlights involve roles at OSN, Oasis Television, Chrysalis Television/MTV Europe, and the Ministry of Defence, where Davie developed expertise in engineering, systems integration, and project management. Educationally, Davie completed a standards-based apprenticeship in Electrical and Electronics Engineering through the Ministry of Defence and attended Bromley Technical College and Glasgow School of Nautical Studies.
