Neta Shimony is a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering at Technion since October 2021, focusing on Mass Transfer and Heat Transfer courses. As a PhD candidate and Master's student in Prof. Boaz Mizrahi's Laboratory for Biomaterials, Neta is actively engaged in advanced research. Additionally, Neta instructs young children in medicine, biotechnology, and chemistry through the Science Seeking Youth program. Serving as the Graduate Student Coordinator of Academic Affairs for the Technion Student Association since January 2020, Neta previously worked as a Teaching Assistant for Basic and Organic Chemistry in the Archimedes program at the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry. Previous experience includes serving in the Israeli Air Force from October 2011 to April 2014. Neta holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Food Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biotechnology Engineering at Technion.
