VP Industries For Carbon-free Solution Business Line at Technip Energies

Nicolas Siwertz has a diverse work experience in various companies. From 2018, they worked at Technip Energies as the VP Industries for the Carbon-free solution Business Line. Nicolas also served as the Consortium Project Director for the CIGEO Project, managing a deep geological repository for radioactive wastes.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they worked at TechnipFMC as the Operation Excellence & Quality Director for the CORAL South FLNG Project, which involved the construction of a floating LNG facility.

From 2011 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Technip, including Equipement Delivery (Supply Chain) Manager for the Browse FLNG Project, Business Improvement and Quality Director for the Browse FLNG Project, and Shell FLNG Program Business Improvement Director. Nicolas also served as the Senior Vice President for Mining & Metals, Nuclear, and Defence.

Before joining Technip, they worked at AREVA from 1997 to 2011, where they held various managerial positions, including Chairman of MECACHIMIE and Quality & Continuous Improvement Vice President.

Throughout their career, Nicolas Siwertz has gained extensive experience in project management, business improvement, quality management, and supply chain operations.

Nicolas Siwertz completed their education in a variety of fields. From 1992 to 1995, they attended École Polytechnique, where they studied Fluid Mechanics and Physics. Following that, they pursued Nuclear Engineering at Mines Paris from 1995 to 1996, earning their degree as an Ingénieur. In 2007 and 2008, they pursued further education in Finance, obtaining a Master 2 (M2) degree from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Additionally, in 1992 and 1993, Nicolas attended the Académie militaire de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan for military and academic training, working towards becoming a French Military Officer Candidate. Nicolas has also obtained certification as a Lean-6 Sigma Green Belt from CentraleSupélec Exed in 2017.
