Saptarshee Mitra

Saptarshee MITRA, PhD, currently serves as an Ingénieur de recherche at Technip Energies since October 2025. Prior to this role, Saptarshee held a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CEA, focusing on the investigation of electrode microstructures using advanced 3D techniques such as synchrotron micro/nanotomography. Saptarshee also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, developing methods for characterizing sedimentary deposits formed by tsunamis utilizing X-ray tomography. The academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers, a Master's Degree from Centrale Nantes, and a Bachelor's Degree from Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute. Relevant early experience includes engineering roles and internships in transformer design and ship maintenance.
