Lucas Joseph

Lucas Joseph is an experienced robotics research engineer currently working at Inria since July 2019, focusing on robot safety as a postdoctoral researcher in the AUCTUS research team. Prior to this, Lucas was a postdoctoral research fellow at Sorbonne Université from January to June 2019 and completed a PhD at GE Healthcare from June 2015 to May 2018, which involved collaboration with General Electric Healthcare and the Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique, centered on an energetic approach to safety in robotic manipulation. Lucas began involvement with GE Healthcare during an internship in 2014 after obtaining a Master 2 in Mechatronics from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Rennes between 2011 and 2014.
